Cormier Grille Shawl Kit
This shawl kit contains the Cormier Grille Shawl pattern by Natalie Servant, 2 skeins of Yvieknits Yarn Sock in the Pewter colourway, and 1 silver shawl pin from Fancy That – Creations by Francine.
The Cormier Grille shawl is a reversible lace triangular shawl inspired by a metal grille that architect Ernest Cormier used in the hall of honour in the Pavilion Roger-Gaudry at the Université de Montréal. There is enough yardage in these 2 skeins of Sock yarn to knit the large version of this shawl.
Sock is a 3-ply fingering weight yarn that contains 75% superwash merino and 25% nylon. Each skein is approximately 100 g and 420 m (460 yards).
The Pewter colourway is a mix of different shades of a silvery-grey.
The filigreed circle shawl pin is made of Tibetan silver and is 2″ in diameter with an attached silver-plated stick pin.
Natalie knit her large fingering weight sample of this shawl using 2 skeins of this sock yarn in the Pewter colourway.
