My Open House on Saturday, August 10th
My friend Francine of Fancy That – Creations by Francine came over on Friday night to help me setup for my Open House. Francine has a gift of creating beautiful display as shown in the pictures below. She also bought over a selection of her shawl pins and stitch markers with her that were available for sale during the open house.
My friend Natalie of Natalie Servant Designs let me have her binders full of her patterns available at my open house too. She also let me borrow her small fingering sample of her Père Lachaise shawl that she knit using 1 skein of my Cash Sock in the Blackberry colourway to have on display. My friend Laurie brought her project bags along as well (sorry, no pictures of them) and helped me out all day. Thank you Francine, Natalie and Laurie for everything.
Thank you to everyone who attended my open house on Saturday. It was a fun day for me. I hope that everyone had a good time and enjoy their purchases. There were people there who have attended both of my open houses this year plus several people who came for the first time. By early afternoon, most of these seats were filled up by people knitting and chatting away.
