I started dyeing up silk hankies (matawa) in January and recently added them for sale to my website. Matawa are 100 % silk hankies with dozens of layers in each hankie. Each layer can be spun one at a time or can be drafted (stretched) and knitted directly. There are several silk hankies in each 1 oz (28 g) package.
